During, this era of the 1962-75 was where the Vietnam War started. the War played a big role at this time , as well as many music influences , television and racism. it was all put in a society to see how it all played out in the world many new music came out such as rock and roll and many different new genres as well as artist known as Elvis,rolling stones, The Beatles and many more but The Beatles contributed so much and had a new group called "hippies" that were known as peacekeepers. In the war racism was a big part it was where african americand began to get drafted , everyone got drafted except the students that were attending a college. This era was where women got more of their rights were the youths were pushed to vote and speak up.
